It never fails silently
Every stumble shows up in the feed in plain English: what it tried, where it got stuck, why. No mystery states, no "trust us."
One application's journey through the machine, start to finish. No magic claimed, no steps hidden, including the part where things go wrong.
You tell it once what you're looking for. It searches the boards, opens each posting, and reads the whole thing: the role, the requirements, the red flags.
Staffing agency reposting? Skipped. Requires a tool you've never touched? Skipped. It applies to fits, not to everything with a pulse. You can loosen or tighten the filters any time.
Most postings don't end at the job board. The button says "Apply on company site" and opens the company's own hiring system, with its own account, its own login, its own six pages of forms.
Quick-apply tools stop here. This is exactly where Knockwork starts working. It follows the posting through, creates your account with a strong password it remembers, and even handles the "verify your email" step by itself.
No scripts written per website. No brittle shortcuts that break when a site changes its design. The bot looks at the actual screen, finds each field, and decides what goes where, the same way you would.
That's why a hiring system it has never seen before usually just works. There's nothing to pre-program, because it isn't following a recipe. It's reading.
While the form fills, a second track runs in parallel: an AI reads everything you've told it about yourself plus this job's description, and writes a one-page resume aimed at this posting specifically.
Then a different AI audits it, line by line, against your real background. Too weak? Rewritten. Anything untrue? Killed. Only then does the finished PDF get uploaded, into this application only. A matching cover letter takes another minute.
Work authorization, graduation date, coursework, the "why do you want to work here" box: every answer traces back to your profile and your tailored resume. Nothing else.
If a question needs something it doesn't know, it doesn't guess. It leaves the honest answer, or leaves it for you. A bot that invents facts on a job application is writing checks you have to cash in the interview.
By default the finished application parks at the Submit button, filled and waiting, and the dashboard tells you it's ready. You look it over. You hit send. Total control.
When you trust it, flip the switch and it submits for you. Either way, every application is tracked with evidence: what it filled, when, what happened. Watch it all live, in plain English, even from your phone.
The bot works inside your own Chrome, in its own window, on your machine. That's why it can sign into things as you and why your data stays yours. Do homework, watch something, write a paper: it works in the background while you do.
Two honest requirements: the computer stays on with the lid open (the bot holds it awake while working, there's a toggle in Settings), and Chrome stays running. It sends a desktop notification when an application is ready for your review, and you can watch it live from your phone through the dashboard.
Most applications go through clean. But new hiring systems appear, old ones get redesigned, and once in a while a form does something nobody's ever seen. How a bot handles its worst day matters more than its best, so here is ours, in writing:
Every stumble shows up in the feed in plain English: what it tried, where it got stuck, why. No mystery states, no "trust us."
A job that didn't finish goes into your tracker as exactly that, with a retry button. Nothing quietly disappears.
The application it half-finished is sitting in a normal browser tab. Take the wheel any time and finish by hand.
Two lines it cannot cross: no made-up facts about you, and no submission without your standing permission.
Hit "Report a problem" in the dashboard and the full story of what happened goes straight to the developer. Rough edges get fixed because you can actually reach us.
Five minutes of setup, and the walkthrough covers everything. Pricing is one flat plan โ
